Hinshaw Hosts ALPFA Law Chicago Chapter's "Financing Your Venture"
On Thursday, June 20, 2013, the ALPFA Law Chicago Chapter presented its law and business program, Financing Your Venture - Market Check: A Review of Current Trends and Practices in Corporate Finance. Diane E. Webster (Chicago), Chair of ALPFA Chicago's Corporate Advisory Board, was instrumental in organizing this event.
Business and law professionals in all practices and industries were invited to the law offices of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP for an evening of networking and education on the current market conditions in corporate finance. The event featured a panel of corporate finance professionals, complimentary beverages, and hors d'oeuvres. Expert panelists led an engaging discussion on the market conditions in the areas of senior bank debt financing, mezzanine debt financing, and private equity. The program was moderated by Juan R. Ramirez, Relationship Manager, BMO Harris Bank, N.A. Over sixty people attended the event and actively participated in the program's discussion on lending in the current market. Networking followed the panel discussion and Q&A. Panelists were:
