On January 13, 2015, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP hosted the event “Growing Your Family: An LGBT Perspective,” an event coordinated by LGBT Affinity Network member, Jason L. Santos.

The event was geared towards prospective LGBT adoptive parents needing questions about the process of adopting a child answered by experts. The program addressed many topics that concern the LGBT adoption process such as LGBT adoption trends; the beginning steps of the adoption process; the different types of adoptions and the rights; and protections and responsibilities of LGBT married couples when adopting.
