Patrick Patras to Present at the Internet Marketplace Risk Management Conference

Patrick L. Patras, a Chicago-based partner and member of the Patent Practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, will present at the Internet Marketplace Risk Management Conference on September 14, 2016, in San Francisco. Mr. Patras will speak on the topic "Patent Trolls – How to Effectively Deal With the Inevitable" from 3:00–4:00 p.m. (PT). During the presentation, he will discuss the basics of patent infringement cases, how to defend your organization, strategies in dealing with patent trolls, and insurance programs designed to deal with patent trolls.

Mr. Patras devotes his practice to intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on patent litigation. He has extensive experience in all aspects of patent litigation and has tried patent infringement cases in federal court, as well as in the arbitration setting.
