Hinshaw Attorneys Discuss Impact of COVID-19 Legislation on Employers in RAEDC Webinar

Jim Pirages, Evan Bonnett, and Maryjo Pirages-Reynolds presented a webinar titled "Navigating COVID-19 Legislation and Its Impact on Employers," on May 14, 2020 to the Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC). Their presentation provided an overview of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and unemployment under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), along with a discussion of practical considerations relating to furloughs, layoffs, and returning to work.
