Diane Webster Elected to Chair of ALPFA Chicago’s Corporate Advisory Board
CHICAGO, IL – Diane E. Webster, a Chicago-based attorney in the Medical Litigation Practice of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been elected Chair of ALPFA Chicago’s Corporate Advisory Board. Her term began on October 18, 2012.
ALPFA is the largest Latino association for business professionals and students. The organization has chapters nationwide and more than 19,000 members. ALPFA is dedicated to enhancing opportunities for Latinos and building leadership and career skills.
Ms. Webster has long been an active member of ALPFA Chicago and formerly served as Executive Vice-President of the organization. In her new role, Ms. Webster will create and implement the Chicago Chapter's Corporate Advisory Board (CAB). The CAB will consist of senior executives from both sponsor and non-sponsor entities that will serve in an advisory capacity to the board of directors to provide vision and strategic guidance.
Ms. Webster focuses her practice on civil defense litigation including medical and health care litigation, products liability, pharmaceutical liability, and medical/surgical device litigation. Her practice also includes premises liability, municipal law and government litigation. Ms. Webster was selected as a 2011 Fellow in the inaugural year of the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Fellows program. The LCLD program is designed to increase diversity at the leadership levels of law firms and corporate legal departments throughout the country. She is also a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and Hispanic National Bar Association.
