Hinshaw Partner Albert C. Angelo Selected to 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin
The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Albert C. Angelo, partner in the Chicago office, has been selected as one of 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch in 2020 by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. More than 1,000 nominations were submitted to the media company for the 21st annual edition of the awards.
"Since beginning his career at our firm, Al has demonstrated all the hallmarks of a consummate and skilled litigator," said Hinshaw Chairman Peter Sullivan. "He has contributed significantly to the firm's success by attracting and securing new business relationships in various industries. With his strong reputation in Chicago's legal and business communities, it's not surprising that he has been selected among this year's 40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch."
Angelo has spent his entire career at Hinshaw and has garnered a reputation among his peers as a professional and highly skilled litigator in the court room. In addition to an active litigation practice, he co-chairs Hinshaw's Personal Injury and Property Damage Practice Group, and is a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Mentor Committee.
He focuses his practice on tort defense litigation, representing companies in cases involving transportation, products liability, toxic tort, chemical exposure, fire litigation, and construction defect matters, and also handles arbitrations and mediations in state and federal courts. He is also the lead attorney of a national defense team representing one of the firm's largest self-insured clients on transportation/auto collision claims nationwide.
With an LL.M. in Tax Law, Angelo has also established a niche practice involving trust and estate litigation, and advises clients on various estate planning and asset protection matters. He was accepted into Crain's Leadership Academy in 2017.
