Hinshaw partner Gregg Stevens co-authored an analysis with Joseph Apatov of McGlinchey Stafford that was published in The Conference on Consumer Finance Law's (CCFL) 2024 Quarterly Report (Vol. 77, No. 2).

In the article "The Evolving Landscape of the Duty to Investigate Legal Disputes Under the FCRA," Stevens and Apatov review the evolving landscape of Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) litigation, highlighting recent pivotal appeals and court decisions that have sparked further debate about the obligation of credit reporting agencies and furnishers to investigate legal disputes.

The authors analyze landmark court decisions affecting the credit reporting industry and the role of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).
