Hinshaw Attorneys Named to the 2025 Fellowship Class and 2025 Pathfinder Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

February 3, 2025

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin Manganaro, a Consumer Financial Services partner based in our Boston office, has been selected for the 2025 Class of Fellows of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

In addition, associates Kelechi Ajoku and Alfredo "Fred" Ramos have been selected to participate in the 2025 LCLD Pathfinders Program.

LCLD was established to improve the legal profession's diversity and inclusion performance. LCLD members include managing partners of prominent U.S. law firms alongside the general counsel of major corporations. LCLD Fellows and Pathfinders are "two of the most comprehensive legal talent development programs in the country."

As a Fellow, Manganaro will participate in both virtual and in-person class meetings, engage with prominent legal and business leaders from large U.S. corporations, and attend leadership lunches organized by LCLD Member organizations. As Pathfinders, Ajoku and Ramos will gain access to practical tools for building and utilizing internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and insights into career development strategies.

Manganaro represents clients in consumer financial services litigation, focusing on contested foreclosure and eviction matters in Massachusetts state and federal courts. He is also actively involved in the legal community through organizations, including the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association, GLAD Forward, and the Boston Bar Association.

Ajoku serves companies in labor and employment litigation involving claims of discrimination and harassment from inception to trial. She also provides employment training on these issues. Additionally, Ajoku is an active leader in several of the firm's internal DEI committees and initiatives and was recently elected to the Executive Board of St. John's University School of Law Alumni of Color Chapter.

Ramos represents financial services clients in complex litigation and enforcement actions across the United States. He has extensive experience in commercial litigation in various courts involving fraud, breach of contract, and alleged violations of laws such as the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and unfair and deceptive trade-practice statutes.
