Hinshaw's Robert Hills Honored as a Peoria "40 Leaders Under Forty"
The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Robert J. Hills, an associate in the firm's Peoria office, has been selected as one of Peoria Magazines' "40 Leaders Under Forty" honorees. The award recognizes young leadership in Greater Peoria and is sponsored by InterBusiness Issues (iBi) magazine.
Honorees were nominated by Peoria community members, and are selected by a panel of judges comprised of community and business leaders. Members of the 2018 class were announced and recognized at a reception in East Peoria on November 1.
An active member of the Peoria community, Hills is a co-founder of Generation United, a philanthropic initiative for young professionals at the Heart of Illinois United Way. As a health care attorney, he has worked on significant cases for some of the region's largest health care organizations and has also provided pro bono legal representation on behalf of Prairie State Legal Services.
Hills is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School (J.D.) and DePaul University (B.S.). He is admitted to practice in Illinois, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois. A former board member of the Itoo Society, Hills currently is a member of the Abraham Lincoln Inn of Court, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Peoria County Bar Association.
