Michael Malone and Thomas Schrimpf Honored with Jon Allen Pace Setter Award by Milwaukee Justice Center for Pro Bono Efforts

The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Milwaukee-based partners Michael Malone and Thomas Schrimpf were named recipients of the 2021 Jon Allen Pace Setter Award for Attorneys. Awarded by the Milwaukee Justice Center (MJC), the honor recognizes MJC volunteers for their compassion and commitment to the organization and its mission to address the unmet legal needs of low-income, underrepresented litigants in Milwaukee County.

As pro bono contributors to the MJC, Malone and Schrimpf work extensively with Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics. During 2020, this included volunteering their time to assist litigants impacted by the pandemic. Schrimpf was also recently recognized as a member of the 2020 Wisconsin Pro Bono Honor Society.
