Vicente's practice spans the entire spectrum of the litigation process. He litigates first-party insurance coverage cases in federal court and counsels businesses in landlord-tenant and real estate litigation.
Before joining Hinshaw, Vicente honed his skills in a regional full-service law firm, where he defended some of Florida's largest insurers. His experience encompassed every facet of litigating first-party property, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general liability cases.
Vicente's journey into the legal profession began with a commitment to public service. During his time in law school, he interned with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, the Department of Homeland Security, and a nonprofit organization known for taking high-impact cases to the Florida and U.S. Supreme Court. He also served as a certified legal intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office.
At the University of Miami, Vicente excelled in moot court programs and the Trial Team, representing the University in various national competitions. His advocacy skills also extended beyond the courtroom, as he served as a student advocate for the law school's Honor Council Disciplinary Proceedings, defending students against allegations of academic misconduct.
