Meaghan Fontein practices law in aerospace litigation defending product liability claims in aviation incidents and physical injury and property damage claims asserted against national and regional aviation clients. She has secured numerous dismissals for aviation clients through motion practice and negotiation. Meaghan also has experience in insurance litigation and intellectual property matters.

In law school, Meaghan was a member of Chicago-Kent's Moot Court Honor Society and Intellectual Property Moot Court. Her team won first place and best brief at the 2017 Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition in Chicago, Illinois, and later named national finalists in Washington, D.C. Meaghan also received international recognition by winning the prestigious Ladas Memorial Award for trademark writing for her paper, "Digital Resurrections Necessitate Federal Post-Mortem Publicity Rights," which was previously published in the Journal of the Patent and Trademark Office. Meaghan was also a semi-finalist in the 2018 Evan A. Evans Constitutional Law Moot Court competition in Madison, Wisconsin.
