Megan Lopp Mathias represents middle-market businesses and Fortune 1000 companies with legal and operational matters, including internal investigations, risk management, transactions, and developing international growth strategies. She has experience in shareholder litigation, restrictive covenant litigation, high-asset family law litigation, and trade secret litigation. She helps companies grow from start-up and financing to going public.

Before joining Hinshaw, Megan was a founding partner of a boutique firm representing many women and minority-owned businesses and executives. Having served as outside counsel for more than 20 years, Megan can operate as part of a C-suite team, providing legal, compliance, risk management, and operational support. She is dedicated to establishing long-lasting relationships with her clients, providing them with skillful and compassionate guidance through any challenges.

Megan has significant experience in e-discovery, having served as the U.S. Court of Appeals co-chair for the Seventh Circuit e-discovery pilot program. She understands the benefits of innovation and technology, and applies her award-winning #legaltech insights to provide her clients with cutting-edge legal advice folded within the deep bench at Hinshaw.
