Christiane Sinclair concentrates her practice on insurance coverage, insurance regulation and compliance, and bad-faith litigation. She also has experience in complex commercial litigation, including construction, toxic tort, and mold litigation. Christy often defends insurance companies in inquiries and proceedings conducted by the Department of Insurance.
Christy advises insurers on compliance with regulations for claims handling, fraud investigations, roadside assistance, and training. She also counsels insurers on drafting policy provisions, policy and procedure guidelines, and standardized letters in order to ensure regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Christy was Of Counsel at Coddington, Hicks & Danforth, a California insurance regulatory and litigation firm that joined Hinshaw in 2023.
