James Rooney’s practice is focused on the area of professional liability, with particular emphasis on legal malpractice and medical malpractice matters.

James has plaintiff’s experience in addition to his defense work. He has also worked on third-party liability, subrogation, and personal injury cases.

James joined Hinshaw in 2001. He began his paralegal career in 1988 at the Tampa firm of Butler, Burnette and Pappas. He has also worked for the plaintiff’s firms of Almerico & Mooney in Tampa, and Abrahamson & Uiterwyk and the Law Offices of Paul B. Genet, P.A., both in Clearwater.
