She also handles Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) disputes, fiduciary claims, and benefit plan litigation to help clients protect their employee benefit offerings and ensure compliance.

As a seasoned litigator with extensive experience, Marissa provides strategic oversight throughout the litigation process, from motion practice and key depositions to managing intricate discovery. Marissa is known for efficiently resolving disputes short of trial through settlement or mediation.

During law school, Marissa participated in several activities and earned awards for academic excellence. She served on the Editorial Board for the Consumer Law Review, was an assistant symposium editor for the Public Interest Law Reporter, worked as an academic tutor, and was a student clinician at the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic.
