Paula Munera Alzate represents insurers in complex first and third-party insurance matters. Her practice also encompasses coverage evaluations, commercial litigation, and general liability insurance defense.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Paula developed her knowledge and civil litigation experience with a regional firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, including multiple areas of law within insurance defense and commercial litigation, including first-party property and shareholder disputes.
In addition to her academic achievements, Paula was involved in the Hispanic Student Bar Association, the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society. She was also a member of the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) National Trial Association, winning "Best Cross-Examination" in the 2019 Intramural Competition. Additionally, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frank Ledee at the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit.
