Robert Braun has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and liability defense in the aerospace industry. He advises airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and private aviation clients on FAA regulations, certification, licensing, accident investigations, and insurance disputes. With a strong focus on risk management, Robert helps clients navigate the complexities of aviation law and operations.
Licensed in Illinois, Texas and Wisconsin, Robert has tried more than 30 cases to verdict, representing airlines, general aviation, and transportation clients in matters involving mishaps, accidents, and major losses across the country.
A former active-duty JAG officer in the United States Air Force, Robert served as both a prosecutor and defense attorney. During his five years of active duty service he was appointed as the attorney-advisor to several Aircraft Major Mishap Accident Investigation Boards and defended pilots before Flying Evaluation Boards.
Earlier in his career, Robert served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable J. P. Stadtmueller, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
