Hinshaw Announces Selection of April Toy the 2023 Fellowship Class and Erin Lindberg to the 2023 Pathfinder Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity
The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that April Toy, a partner in the firm's Milwaukee office, has been selected to the 2023 Class of Fellows of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). San Francisco-based associate Erin Lindberghas been selected to participate in the 2023 LCLD Pathfinders Program. In total, 459 Fellows and 480 Pathfinders were named to the 2023 class.
LCLD was established to improve the legal profession's diversity and inclusion performance. LCLD members include managing partners of prominent U.S. law firms as well as the general counsel of major corporations. LCLD Fellows and Pathfinders are two of the "most comprehensive legal talent development programs in the country."
As a Fellow, Toy will participate in virtual and in-person class meetings, interact with key legal and business leaders of large U.S. corporations, and attend leadership lunches hosted by LCLD Member organizations. As a Pathfinder, Lindberg will be given access to practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies.
Toy represents businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Her primary practice areas include commercial litigation, legal malpractice defense and defending insurers in first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes. She currently serves as the Hispanic National Bar Association's (HNBA) Region IX President and as the Chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Leadership Academy Sub-Committee.
Lindberg focuses her practice on professional liability, personal injury, and product liability matters. She defends business entities and individuals throughout all stages of litigation, from pre-suit liability investigation and evaluation to trial.
