Six Hinshaw Attorneys Contribute Chapters to the 2024 Edition of the "Dramshop Act Practice" IICLE Handbook
Six Hinshaw attorneys contributed three of the five chapters in the 2024 edition of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) "Dramshop Act Practice" handbook. IICLE is the premier provider of continuing legal education in Illinois. Founded in 1961, the Institute publishes a comprehensive set of handbooks designed by and for Illinois attorneys.
Since dramshop violations can result in legal complications involving various parties, severe injuries, property damage, and inter-state jurisdiction, the handbook offers insights and best practices for any Illinois lawyer who wants to safeguard their client's interests.
The Hinshaw-authored chapters are as follows:
- Chapter 3: "Pleadings in Dramshop Cases" by William F. Cook VI, Matthew Walsh II, and Kate Scolaro
- Chapter 4: "Investigation and Discovery" by William F. Cook VI, Cameron Trahey, and Matthew Walsh II
- Chapter 5: "Trial Practice in Dramshop Cases" by William F. Cook VI, Jack Shadid, and Liam McGing
