Kelechi Ajoku represents employers in employment litigation involving claims of discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour, from inception to trial. She also provides employment training on these issues.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Kelechi represented clients in complex commercial litigation and personal injury matters at a national law firm. She also assisted clients with formulating and executing business agreements, including employment agreements and shareholder and operating agreements.
During law school, Kelechi was involved in a number of associations and served as president of the Black Law Students Association. She was also an Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Association member. As a student, Kelechi interned at a production company in the business and legal affairs department, assisting with potential legal issues arising in television production and talent agreements, including copyright and trademark infringement, as well as negotiating agreements with various vendors.
